Aimé Roudil, owner of Domaine Le Vieux Moulin, was instrumental in bringing Tavel wines to the AOC status in 1936.

His great-granddaughter Veronique and her husband Didier Jouffret are now the 4thgeneration of vine-growers at the helm of the estate. After modernizing Domaine Le Vieux Moulin’s cellar and equipment, they acquired the nearby Domaine le Vieux Lavoir, a Cotes du Rhone AOC. Their son, Sebastien is the winemaker for both estates and makes the most out of the experience passed down generations after generations.
